A person is a complete kit for covering a whole role in Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or VS Code. One install brings the working method, the skills that role runs, the sub-agents it hands a step to, and the MCP servers it can already reach. A skill is a single procedure. An agent is a single role file. A person is the kit those pieces belong to. Sam covers the Senior Frontend Engineer role with the fe-pipeline skill, passing steps to fe-interpreter, fe-interpreter-verifier, fe-coder, and fe-reviewer.
What a person kit includes
- Method
- How this person takes the job, written on their page.
- Skills
- Procedures they can run without a briefing.
- Sub-agents
- Specialists they pass a step to.
- Tools
- MCP servers they can already reach.
When to install a person
Install a person when you want a whole role staffed: frontend delivery, a review, research, or a release. The page gives one prompt for the method and every file that belongs with it.
A single procedure lives in the skill catalog. A single role file lives in the agent catalog. Connect the catalog MCP when the assistant should find the kit and install it.
