How to use agent categories
Match the category to the seat you want filled. A languages agent stays inside a stack. A security agent tightens access. A planning agent locks scope before code. Each category page lists roles with author, origin, and install guidance on the detail page.
Picking the right group
Choose by specialty, not by model. If the work is language-specific, open languages. If it is ops or deploy, open DevOps. If you need research or planning before implementation, open those groups first. Use search on the category page when the list is long.
What an agent category is
Categories are shared labels across the catalog. Skills use the same taxonomy, so a security skill and a security agent can sit under one idea even though they install as different file types. See skill categories, or search the full agent catalog.
