Claude Code skills
Claude Code skills live in ~/.claude/skills. This page is the third-party catalog and the claude mcp add line that attaches myagents to the CLI. After that, you ask Claude Code for a slug and it waits before it writes.
Anthropic ships a builtin skill set. myagents is extra: community folders you add yourself. Work in the Claude Code CLI or desktop app. claude.ai does not read ~/.claude/skills. Copy a slug from a listing, then let Claude Code call install_skill.

How to install a Claude Code skill
- In a terminal where claude is on your PATH, run the HTTP claude mcp add command from the panel.
- In Claude Code, mention the slug and the job. The myagents install_skill tool should fire. After the write, run /skills and look for the name.
- Approve the disk change. Claude Code creates ~/.claude/skills/<slug>/SKILL.md. A yes in claude.ai will not create that folder.
Run ls ~/.claude/skills/<slug> and /skills in the session. You want SKILL.md on disk and the name in the list. Agent markdown goes to ~/.claude/agents/<slug>.md.
No MCP: mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills/<slug> and put SKILL.md there. Start a new Claude Code session. YAML frontmatter with name and description is required or /skills stays empty.
