Query the catalog from Cursor

myagents is a searchable catalog of agent skills and agents — and an MCP server itself. Install it once in Cursor, then ask your agent to find a skill or agent, fetch the full body, or get install guidance.

Manual setup

Or edit ~/.cursor/mcp.json (or project .cursor/mcp.json) and merge:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "myagents": {
      "url": "https://myagents.center/api/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Endpoint URL: https://myagents.center/api/mcp

Tools

  • search_skills — find skills by keyword in the name and description; returns id

  • get_skill — fetch a skill by id, including body and sourceUrl
  • install_skill — install guidance for a slug. External skills return a source URL. System skills return the body and a suggested path
  • search_agents — find agents by keyword in the name and description; returns id
  • list_agents — paginated agent catalog (id, slug, excerpt — no body)
  • get_agent — fetch an agent by id, including body and sourceUrl

Ask for a skill or agent

After connecting, ask the agent to search or list, then fetch by id. It will call search_skills / list_skills, then get_skill for the full body, or install_skill for install guidance. The same flow works for agents with search_agents, list_agents, get_agent, and install_agent. Show the catalog URL from the result. External entries return only a source URL on install; system entries return a body and a suggested path. Confirm with you before writing any files.

  • “Find a skill for writing commit messages and show me the catalog link.”
  • “List recent skills, then get the full body for one by id.”
  • “Search agents about code review and fetch the one I pick.”
  • “Get install guidance for that skill, and ask me before writing any files.”
  • “Get install guidance for that agent, and ask me before writing any files.”

Browse skills in the catalog, then ask for one by name.

Client install guides: Cursor skills, Claude Code skills, Codex skills, and VS Code Copilot skills.
